GB/T11251 15Cr alloy steel plate and sheet

Description

GB/T11251 15Cr steel is a hot rolled alloy structural steel plate and sheet. 20Cr steel has higher carbon and manganese content than 15Cr. 15Cr steel has good weldability.

Decarbonization test

According to the buyer's requirements, the depth of the decarburized layer of the steel plate can be inspected as specified in GB/T 224. The thickness of the steel plate is not more than 20mm. The depth of the full decarburized layer (ferrite) should not exceed 2.5% of the nominal thickness of the steel plate on each side, and the sum of the two sides should not exceed 4.0%. For steel plates with a thickness greater than 20mm, each side shall not exceed 2.0% of the nominal thickness of the steel plate.
