EN10083-3 25CrMo4 grade is a hardening alloy steel for quenching and tempering. It is available in hot rolled plate, sheet, and strips, wide flats, forgings and bars.
EN10083-3 25CrMo4 alloy features:
25CrMo4 has a low content of carbon and low hardenability, but it is tough and easily weldable. 25CrMo4 alloy steel is used to manufacture high-pressure pipes, various fasteners, and higher-level carburized parts, such as gears and shafts, that work in non-corrosive media and media with a temperature of less than 250°C and a mixture containing nitrogen and hydrogen.
